Trivia!

Ah, palm trees, what a sight to see when it is getting cold at home! That is what I am headed for tomorrow, sunny Hollywood, FL for the WPBA Nationals!!

In honor of this tournament, I will give you a semi-easy question this week!

What are my finishes in past years at the WPBA Nationals??

Thank you PoolDawg for sponsoring the trivia and thank you to the readers for playing! Be sure to leave your email address along with your answer in the comment section. Good luck!

I will be back to post more about the weekend and my feelings about going to Florida later tonight. For now, I have to get back to work!

  2. 2003 - 25th place
As we all know, records prior to 2003 were sacrificed by the WPBA to the mighty demon Billiardzebub in an attempt to move professional pool ahead of competitive eating in popularity (a move which hasn't quite paid off yet).

  4. George, are you the usual George that posts correct answer? I have your gift code so please let me know. Pez, I believe he is talking about the fact that for some reason archives of tournament brackets have been lost. As for me, I didn't play in the Nationals until 2003. Hopefully pool does reach a higher level than eating soon!

  5. Hi Sara,

I think there was some confusion about what I said about our match-up a few years ago. I hope you actually have gone onto www.go4pool.net to check out what I said. I have also left a comment on Brooklyn Jay's blog and I hope you check it out.

I was not saying anything about your game, but more about learning from the experience of playing you. I respect you as an amazing player and an established champion. I was definitely outmatched that night and would have lost sober or drunk. However, I know that I won a set at the beginning. I remember it so well because I wasn't sure if I would win any. You dominated and won every other set & $500.

I also remember having a great time and hanging at Capone's the next night after you won the Ladies Spirit Tour Championship. I remember talking about paying my dues =). Thank you the opportunity to play and learn from the match. I hope to have rematch in the future and to see how I've progressed over the years. I'm sure you're stronger as well and will definitely be the favorite.

Great job on tour this year and I hope you're doing well!

    Sincerely,

    Emily
